The Truth About Landgate

Craftsmanship: A Promise Unfulfilled

One of the key reasons we hired Landgate Custom Homes was their promise of exceptional craftsmanship. Unfortunately, what we received fell far short of expectations. From poorly aligned finishes to uneven surfaces, the level of attention to detail was severely lacking.

Whether it was the misaligned trim, visible gaps in the flooring, or subpar installation of doors and windows, the quality of work throughout the project was consistently disappointing. What was supposed to be a renovation of precision and care became a constant reminder of the shortcuts and oversight that defined Landgate’s approach to our home.

This is what we asked for

we have built this same cat house before and it turned out great.  We sent the contractor these images to replicate this and she completely botched it. No flooring inside the space, rough finishes everywhere.  Cut the hole flush to the floor instead of on top of trim etc etc….

This is what Landgate delivered

Craftsmanship or Corner-Cutting?

What we expected was expert craftsmanship, but what we received was a series of shortcuts and poorly executed work. Instead of the clean, polished finishes we were promised, we encountered uneven installations, mismatched materials, and careless attention to detail.

Whether it was improperly installed trim, rough edges on doors and windows, or visible flaws in the floors, Landgate’s so-called craftsmanship felt more like corner-cutting. The high standards we were assured of were nowhere to be seen, leaving us with a home full of imperfections.
