Poor Insulation Leads to Unwanted Drafts
One of the most glaring issues we faced after Landgate’s work was the lack of proper insulation. Their mistakes left us with significant drafts, especially under our kitchen range and inside our cabinets. These cold spots have made our home less comfortable and energy inefficient, something we never expected after a $1.1 million renovation.
Proper insulation is a basic necessity in any home, yet Landgate failed to provide even that. Despite their claims of quality craftsmanship, the gaps in insulation throughout our house have left us dealing with uncomfortable drafts and higher energy bills.
Compromised Comfort Due to Insulation Failures
Landgate’s oversight on insulation created multiple problem areas in our home. Large drafts seep in from beneath the range and even inside cabinets, areas that should be properly sealed and insulated. Instead of a warm, cozy home, we’re left with cold air infiltrating key living spaces, impacting both comfort and functionality.
